We provide our filmmakers with a wide range of tools and technical equipment so they can be self-sufficient creators for the digital age.
Cameras
We have more than 30 cameras, covering a diverse range of formats including DV, HDV, 8mm, XDCAMEX, AVCCAM, 2k and 4k digital in both tape and tape-less (solid-state and hard-drive) recording mediums. These include:

Lighting
A great shot begins with great lighting. Our lighting kits for student productions and classes ranges from small and portable for documentaries through to complete professional rigs for studio setups and location shoots. Sound specialists use equipment from Sennheiser, Sony, Rode and Marantz.
Our lighting equipment includes:

- A full com pliment of reflectors, cutters and accessories
Sound
IFSS is well equipped with a range of sound recording devices, mixers and all the accessories required for recording sound in the studio or out in the field:

- Rode NTG1 and NTG2 hyper-cardiod ‘shotgun’ microphones
- H4 zoom field recorders
- Sound Devices 302 production audio mixers
- Sennheiser and Takstar professional monitoring headphones
