The facilities and equipment at the International Film School Sydney are hand selected to provide the most powerful, flexible and future-focused environment for professional production and learning.

The Campus is a purpose-designed facility. We believe the right environment is important to get the right results. Built around a large flexible studio space that can be used for shoots, demonstrations, and directing exercises, the school features a series of well-equipped production rooms each serviced with the latest in digital production technology. Our seminar and lecture theatres are designed and equipped to support and enhance all aspects of the student experience.

At The International Film School Sydney there is no shortage of gear. Indeed in addition to our in-house HD cameras, lighting and grip kits we routinely hire in additional professional resources from some of the world's largest equipment and camera suppliers. We think that part of what sets us apart from other film schools is the fact that we make a point of ensuring students always have access to the very best in technology, constantly evaluated and updated. It takes nothing less to deliver Australia's finest film education.

Rather than just learning one system our students are deliberately exposed to the widest possible a variety of digital production systems and tools to ensure your skills and knowledge are flexible and adaptable. Our students are empowered to make informed choices about workflow, software and production tools to suit personal creative outcomes.

As well as creative production tools for editing, sound, colour-grading and motion graphics, our work rooms are also fitted with screenwriting and comprehensive production management software. High-speed internet connections to all computers in the school facilitate the schools emphasis on exploiting online opportunities for web-delivery and on-line collaboration.

In fact with its focus on high-end equipment and studio-trained staff, The International Film School Sydney can and does operate as a fully functioning production studio. But of course it's more than that. We've got a 50 seat school theatre space for screenings and lectures and a number of purpose-configured studios designed for demonstrations, lectures and student shoots.

And when our people need a break, we have a comfortable student lounge, a meal preparation area, two tearooms and a relaxed outdoor area to unwind between takes…
