The total cost of the course for Domestic students is AUS$42,000 and for International students AUS$44,000
The fees are AUS$10,500 per session for domestic students and AUS$11,000 for
international students.
An Advanced Diploma is completed in 4 sessions, over 2 years full-time, five days per week.

International Students - Fee Help
The Endeavour Vocational Education & Training (VET) Awards provide financial support for up to 2.5 years for international students from participating countries to undertake vocational education at a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in any field of study in Australia.

Domestic Students - VET FEE-HELP
PLEASE NOTE : VET FEE-HELP is only available to eligible Australian domestic residents.
The International Film School Sydney is a VET (Vocational Education & Training) provider under the VET FEE-HELP Assistance Scheme and will be offering VET FEE-HELP assistance to ongoing and new students from July 2009. Students wishing to access VET FEE-HELP assistance are invited to discuss their eligibiltiy with us.
VET FEE-HELP is an income contingent loan scheme for the VET sector that is part of the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP).
Eligibility for VET FEE-HELP
You are eligible for VET FEE-HELP if you are an Australian citizen or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa who will be a resident in Australia for the duration of the unit of study in which you are seeking VET FEE-HELP assistance; and are enrolled in one of the following courses:
- Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media
New Zealand citizens and other permanent visa holders are not eligible for VET FEE-HELP and must pay their tuition fees upfront.
VET FEE-HELP borrowing limit
Students can borrow up to the amount of the tuition fees charged for their course. However, over their lifetime, students will only be able to borrow up to a maximum of AU$83,313 (indexed each year).
How will VET FEE-HELP assist you to pay tuition fees?
If you are eligible for VET FEE-HELP, you may choose to pay your tuition fee in one of three ways:
- Pay the full tuition fee upfront to the School
- Pay some of the tuition fee upfront to the School and request a VET FEE-HELP loan for the remainder of the tuition fee
- Request a VET FEE-HELP loan for the full tuition fee.
VET FEE-HELP assistance provides a loan for tuition fees only. It does not cover accommodation, living expenses or other fees or expenses that a student may incur.
Your VET FEE-HELP debt is repaid via the Australian Tax Office once your income reaches the minimum threshold for compulsory repayment. The minimum repayment threshold for compulsory repayment for 2009-2010 is AU$43,150.
Applying for VET FEE-HELP
Students who accept an offer for a fee-paying course will choose their payment option at enrolment. Students do not need to request VET FEE-HELP prior to enrolment.
If applying for VET FEE-HELP, you will need to bring the following documents to enrolment:
- Evidence that you are an Australian citizen or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa (eg, Birth Certificate or Passport); and
- Your Tax File Number.
