Premises and Facilities Overview

At IFSS, we provide a comprehensive and future-focused learning environment.

The campus is a purpose-designed facility, built around a large flexible studio space that is used for shoots, demonstrations and directing exercises.

Our work rooms are fitted with screenwriting and production management software and we have a number of specially-configured studios designed for demonstrations, lectures and student shoots. There’s even a purpose-built hair and make-up studio.

Our teaching spaces include:

• Five theatre/screening/seminar spaces accommodating from 12-60 students with HD projection and 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound.

• 24 seat computer lab with LCD projection and audio.

• 24 seat production computer lab.

• 10 seat student computer lab for general work.

• Audio mastering suite with 24 channel Control24 audio control desk running ProToolsHD.

• Dedicated foley and audio recording room directly linked to Audio Suite.

• High-end Edit Bay for Uncompressed HD online post-production.

• Open studio sound-stage space for camera exercises and set-building.

• Two student lounges with kitchen facilities.
