Red One 

IFSS students have access to the best technology with RED digital cinema cameras, the camera that revolutionised digital cinema. 

The RED ONE® has over 5 times the resolution of an HD video camera and is seen as one of the most significant American inventions of the 21st century. Think of the RED ONE® as a raw recording digital SLR that shoots as high as 10 frames a second at 2k (30 frames a second at 4k). 2k is the resolution that Superman and Star Wares were shot in.

The RED EPIC® is the most sophisticated camera ever built. One third the size of a RED ONE®, its advanced processor enables it to capture up to 120 frames per second, each frame at full 14MP resolution.

All IFSS students have the opportunity to use these cameras, a rarity at most other film schools.
