Software Tools

IFSS provides a comprehensive set of in-house post-production resources, which are focused on flexible, efficient and integrated digital workflows.

There are over 50 computer workstations in both classrooms and private production environments that are available for student use.

We expose our students to a diverse range of software tools so they become well rounded technical artists.

These include:

• Editing: Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro CS3 and Avid Xpress.
• Sound: Pro Tools, SoundTrack Pro and SoundBooth.
• Motion Graphics and Effects: After Effects and Motion
• Animation and Graphics: Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and Moviestorm.
• Delivery and Encoding: Encore, DVD Studio Pro. Compressor, Adobe Media Encoder and QuickTime Pro.
• Colour Grading: Apple Colour, Magic Bullet Looks and Colour Finesse.
• Screenwriting and project management: Celtx, Microsoft Office and iWork.
