Christophe Healy 

Technical Supervisor

After dabbling in the Hong Kong film industry for many years in features such as POLICE STORY with Jackie Chan and GOD OF GAMBLERS with Chow Yun Fat, Christophe embarked upon a more serious career in the industry back home Australia.

Starting as a lighting technician with ‘Motion Picture Lighting’ in Fox Studios he developed consummate film craft through various Ads and TV series. Acting on a desire for more of the artistic side of filmmaking he undertook a Bachelor’s degree in media and screen production at Macquarie University and there excelled in cinematography and shot numerous productions for the university and for the AFTRS .

From there Christophe worked on various documentary projects as a D.O.P. - in Australia and overseas - as well as for environmental organisations such as Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth. Several of these productions won festival acclaim including Best Documentary at the Canberra film festival. Christophe has since worked in music video, advertising and TV series production across a variety of roles and departments including production design, camera and lighting . His talents have serviced high profile companies as Southern Star, SBS, Fox 8, Fox Sport, Crackerjack and Fremantle productions filming sport, drama, video journalism, documentary and reality TV.

Christophe’s wide ranging experience in all technical aspects of filmmaking delivers an invaluable resource to the student productions of the International Film School.
