Guest speakers

Each semester the International Film School Sydney programs special industry events for the student body.  Believing that filmmaking is a nuanced and complex undertaking, the school is proud to present lectures, workshops and presentations from a changing roster of guest speakers.  These visiting professionals offer students an industry-texture beyond the formal curriculum.  

The variety is considerable. For example, some sessions may feature experts from the business areas of theatrical exhibition, distribution, film finance and policy while others might focus on the ways writers, actors and psychologists can work together to develop robust story ideas.

The school welcomes all enrolled students regardless of their stream of study to take full advantage of the guest speaker program.
