Dr. Greg Dolgopolov

Screen Studies


Dr Greg Dolgopolov is a prominent Australian academic, teacher and researcher.  His primary areas of interest are: video production, short film, mobile phones, documentary, Australian Cinema and screen theory. He describes his work as combining heterogeneous theoretical interrogations with creative media practice.

Greg holds PhD from Murdoch University and has taught screen studies at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, and media and cultural studies at Murdoch, Melbourne and Curtin Universities. He has worked as an actor, director and a ‘spin doctor'.

 

Megan Spencer

Screen Studies

Megan Spencer is one of Australia's best known film critics. Most recognised for her work at national radio network Triple J, and SBS-TV's The Movie Show, she was recently appointed a judge on Foxtel's Project Greenlight Australia and the Guest Programmer at the 10th Perth Revelation International Film Festival 2007.  

Spencer is also an active documentary filmmaker. Her credits include: Heathens (1994), Hooked on Christmas, Strange Hungers: Mistress Ursula, Lovestruck: Wrestling's No. 1 Fan. Megan Spencer holds a Masters in Documentary from RMIT and  has taught film at Macquarie University, Sydney Film School, Melbourne University, RMIT University and VCA.
